Model experiments
The model loaded. The answers did not arrive.
Loading a model successfully is only the beginning of a usability test. The saved notes preserve a case where the next step failed.
- Reported model load
- 98.49 s
- Response timeouts recorded
- 2
The question
Does successful model loading mean the model is usable interactively?
How the work was approached
Loaded the locally identified meta/muse-glimmer on CPU, then attempted two small greeting prompts with separate timeouts.
What the record shows
The notes record a successful load but no visible answer before either timeout. The experiment was stopped for this machine.
What remains unresolved
Direct timeout logs were not located in this bounded review; timings are attributed to the contemporaneous tuning note. Do not present this as replicated performance or current model capability.
What we are trying to achieve
We want the local environment to spend its resources on configurations that can finish useful tasks. A preserved timeout is valuable evidence for stopping, diagnosing, or changing the plan instead of extending an unproductive test indefinitely.

This is a dated, source-based research account, not a live machine report. Historical results, engineering preparation, research designs, open review gates, and measured pilots remain distinct.
